PRE LOSS GRIEF + END OF LIFE SUPPORT

When heartbreak is acknowledged a space for calm, clarity and connection opens.

First let me say that I am so sorry you are going through this. I am here to help you through this heartbreaking time of confusion and fear so that you can stay connected to your animal companion and be present to what is needed for both of you. I want to support you to find clarity for each next right step along the way and make sure, whenever possible, your wishes for what you and your animal need in the end are honored.

I have seen that this time of transition actually has the potential to be a beautiful and loving time of deepening connection. This is why in my work to help animals heal their people I felt a strong pull to offer SUPPORT to animal lovers on the brink of loss. Together as we acknowledge the heartbreaking truth of your impending loss, there is an invitation to slow down and connect heart to heart with your beloved animal companion. Through these SUPPORT sessions, I want you to be able to make the most of your precious time together.

One of the most difficult decisions we have to make when we love an animal is to let them go.

When I was practicing as a veterinarian, the biggest fear people shared with me was the fear that they would let their animals go too soon or, even worse, too late. And yet, over and over I witnessed the fear and worry my clients had dissolve into a deep knowing when the time to let go finally came. Of course this didn’t mean they were ever ready to say goodbye. And this didn’t lessen the pain of loss. There was just something that happened when the time came, that they could see that their animal was ready. Being present in the end of life period also offered them the possibility to limit regrets and allow a decrease in what-ifs after the passing of their animals.

  • be held in the emotional storm.

  • tell the stories of the meaning of the animals in your life to someone who deeply understands.

  • remember what is most important to you.

  • slow down to be present with your beloved animal companion and yourself.

  • deeply listen so you can make the best decisions that honors your animal.

  • remember how to trust yourself, like your animal trusts you.

  • find the courage to keep your hearts open in this difficult time.

  • feel your heartbreak and at the same time find strength to be there for your animal in their time of need.

  • navigate the timing on when to let your animal companion go.

Unfortunately, I cannot lessen your grief. Grief is intricately tied to the LOVE you share with your animal and is a deeply personal process. Grief is inevitable with loss.

What I can do and want to do is SUPPORT you in staying connected to your animal companion and be present to what is needed for both of you for the precious time you have left together.

  • The Pre-Loss Grief and End of Life SUPPORT sessions are best experienced before the death of a beloved animal companion.

The offering I recommend if you have recently lost an animal is a Soul Relationship Map READING. These readings can be very healing after the death of an animal. Click here to learn more about Soul Relationship Map READINGS.

In addition there are many offerings available elsewhere for Pet Loss Support including Grief Therapy, in person Group offerings, Memorial Art Therapy and Online Support Groups. I recommend looking for offerings in the area you live. Many Veterinarians, Veterinary Emergency Hospitals and Veterinary Colleges have offerings listed on their websites.

If you feel this process could be helpful to you and your animal has already passed, please schedule a FREE 15 minute DISCOVERY call and we can discuss what offering might be right for you.
